Public Talk: Arne Quinze 'Cities as open air museums'
Belgian artist Arne Quinze creates sculptures, drawings, paintings and large-scale installation, often using recycled timbers painted in electric colours. His uncoventional work has challenged perceptions in cities worldwide. He is visiting Brisbane to discuss a potential commission for the Queensland Theatre Company, curated by Urban Art Projects. Arne's visit and talk is funded through art+place Queensland Public Art Fund. The talk was held in Cinema B, Gallery of Modern Art, Cultural Centre, South Bank from 1:30pm-2:30pm, 16 March 2012.
